Mittwalland (Denmark), the club of South Korean international striker Cho Kyu-sung, has officially apologized for racist behavior towards Korean fans and banned the perpetrators from the stadium for one year.

According to the club, the racist incident occurred during a home match against OMONIA (Cyprus) in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) third qualifying round for the 2023-2024 season at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark on March 18.

The club announced that two local Danish spectators engaged in racist behavior towards a Korean spectator in the fan zone at the MCH Arena.

"We were made aware of the incident during the match and immediately contacted the victim to apologize on his behalf," the club said, adding that "the Korean victim, who was offended, 토토 received an apology from the Danish spectator and the matter was resolved through a dialogue between the parties."

"We decided to suspend the two Danish spectators and held a meeting with the perpetrator to explain the stadium ban."

"Football should bring people together. It shouldn't be the other way around," he said, referring to the club's values, and then bowed his head to "take joint responsibility for eradicating racist behavior and promoting mutual respect and diversity."
