Celtic lost 0-1 away to Kilmarnock in the round of 16 of the 2023-2024 Scottish Cup on Tuesday (local time) at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock, Scotland.
After lifting the League Cup trophy last season, Celtic suffered an embarrassing early exit this season.
Yang, who started the game on the bench, made his debut on the right flank in the 20th minute after being replaced by Riel Abada.
Yang, who was active on both sides of the field, had an attacking opportunity in the 30th minute when he dived near the goal line in the left penalty area, but his footing was off as he tried to receive the pass, and the ball hit his heel and went straight to the opponent.
Yang showed his fighting spirit shortly afterward, 스포츠토토맨 running all the way to save a ball that was about to cross the left endline to keep the offense alive.
In the 36th minute, he distributed the ball strongly up front with a clever turning pass, and on the ensuing possession, he ran directly into the left penalty area and tried to find the back of the net with a left-footed inside kick, but the ball sailed over the crossbar.
Celtic's Kwon Hyuk-kyu was named on the substitutes' bench but was not given a chance to play.
Oh Hyun-gyu, who is expected to be out for six weeks with a calf injury, was left off the Celtic roster.
Celtic took the lead in the 29th minute when Japanese international Kyogo Furuhashi stole the ball in the flanking midfield area and exploded towards goal before unleashing a right-footed shot from the edge of the box that was saved by the keeper.
With the score tied at 0-0, Celtic conceded the opening goal in the 14th minute of the second half to Kilmarnock striker Marley Watkins.
Danny Armstrong crossed low into the box from the right penalty area, 토토 and Watkins charged into the box from the left penalty area and stretched out his left leg to slide the ball into the net.
